Travel Information

This event is unlike any other furry event you will experience! The level of privacy and freedom will empower you to express yourself as best as you can! Due to this, we will NOT be pubically sharing the hotel information.

All registered and ticketed attendees will be able to get the specific hotel details via a private email once registration/vetting completes. Due to our contract with the venue, checkin needs to be on/before Friday 10/6, and checkout needs to be on/after Monday 10/9.

In the meantime, there are so many ways to get to Santa Cruz, California! From buses, trains and everything in between! The suggested airport for transit in/out is San Jose International Airport.

Below are some options to help with your travel planning:

Closest Airports:

  • Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC)
    • 38 Minutes by car via Highway 17
  • San Francisco International Aiport (SFO)
    • 1 Hour by car via Highway 17
  • Oakland International Aiport (OAK)
    • 1 Hour and 15Minutes by car via Highway 17

Public Transit from SJC:

  • From any Terminal take the VTA #60 Milpitas BART – Winchester Station via SJC Airport (the destination sign will read Milpitas BART).
  • This bus will take you to the 1st & Metro stop.
  • VTA #60 is free to ride from the airport terminal and runs approximately every 15 minutes (allow approximately 10 minutes travel time)
  • Cross over to the Southbound Light Rail track from the bus stop
  • Take the VTA Light Rail – Green Line (formerly the Winchester – Mountain View line) ONLY! (the destination sign will read Winchester Station)
  • This train will take you to San Jose Diridon Station (allow approximately 20 minutes travel time)
  • Walk through the tunnel and the station building to the bus bays and take the Amtrak Highway 17 Express Southbound from San Jose to Santa Cruz Metro Center (allow approximately 60 minutes travel time)
