Registration Information

Addons  – WHILE SUPPLIES LAST:

$100 – Guaranteed Room reservation until March 31st, 2023 @ Main Hotel
Subject to limited availability – This $100 is intended to allow individuals (in each tier), to elect someone (or have multiple people), obtain guaranteed access to a room at the Main Hotel. This is NOT REQUIRED for obtaining a room (assuming rooms are available post March 31st, 2023), but will guarantee a room for those who add it to their registration. Please note that when you book, it may default to Thursday to Tuesday. The core dates of the convention (Friday through Monday), which will have guaranteed availability with this add-on.

$60 – Thursday Night Santa Cruz Board Walk Adventure

Registration & Hotel Process

Login/Age Vetting -> Registration -> Addons -> Purchasing -> Hotel -> Verification -> Convention!

Please read the entire document in order to understand the steps for obtaining your ticket & room

Login/Age Vetting:

1. You will create a user-account on our registration portal, and complete our ID verification workflow.  This workflow will make sure you are 21 years of age or older, as well as verify your identification.
2. Once registered and your age verification is complete, you will have the ability to login to the tool and register!

Registration:

1. You will choose the registration level you wish to purchase (see the three different tiers above). Each tier unlocks at that date listed (in the infographic above), relative to if you are a either a prior attendee (first priority), or someone who is new to the event!”
   1. Each registration tier opens at 4:20pm PT on each date listed above.
   2. If you have registered using an email address from a previous BFC event, you will see a registration option starting with “Prior Attendee -“. This option is specifically available for you, however, is equivalent to the registration of the same name.
      1. As an example “Prior Attendee – Regular Supporter” is equivalent to “Regular Supporter”.
2. You will need to fill out our questionnaire and provide us with information we need to finalize your registration.

Addons:

1. 1. Guaranteed Room reservation until March 31st, 2023 – Addon:
      1. At the time of ticket purchase, depending on availability, you may have the ability to add the “Guaranteed Room reservation until March 31st, 2023” Addon.  This addon will give you the ability to obtain a guaranteed room reservation (for the core convention dates of Friday through Monday), prior to when rooms become available to the general public (on April 1st, 2023).
         1. As an example – a group of four may elect to have one person purchase the $100 – Guaranteed Room reservation until March 31st, 2023 addon, and the other three roommates elect for only registration tickets.
         2. REQUIRED: Due to our contract with the venue, checkin needs to be on/before Friday 10/6, and checkout needs to be on/after Monday 10/9.
         3. This fee is not refundable, and does not pay for a room.  It only provides the ability to get the first opportunity to receive a guaranteed room reservation in the main hotel.
         4. This fee entitles the purchaser to avoid risks associated with not getting a room and will allow them the opportunity to obtain access to obtain a hotel room in the main hotel.
         5. This add-on entitles you to only ONE room.

Purchasing:

1. Once you complete your registration, select optional add-ons, and finalize payment you are complete!
2. If you had purchased the “Guaranteed Room reservation until March 31st, 2023”  add-on, you will receive an email post payment, with additional information on how to get your hotel room.

Verification:

1. Verification is where we ensure that the individuals who are planning to goto the event are associated with the community, based on review of the questionnaire provided during registration.
2. Attendees who do not pass verification will be fully refunded but are not allowed to attend.
3. Once verification is complete, we will send an email to the registered email address.

Final Notes:

1. We will send an email to all registered and verified attendees in early April with links to any rooms that are still available in the main hotel.
2. Additionally in April, if our main hotel is full, we also will start the process of providing links to our overflow hotel
   1. If we receive cancellations from the main hotel, we will work with individuals to move their hotel from the overflow to the main hotel.

At The Convention:

• You will show your ID at registration and obtain your badge
  • There is NO ONSITE REGISTRATION FOR OUR EVENT.
• Once you obtain your badge, that will allow you access to the hotel and convention areas.
